Fiddle player Cameron is delighted to have been endorsed by Skyinbow (the maker of his trusted and distinctive electric violin) after years of touring their S1 model. The Skyinbow workshop run by Kenny Johnson in Lerwick, Shetland has been manufacturing high-end instruments and electronics since the 1980s  and have garnered a world-class reputation. The company also produces the Pure Acoustic transducer pick-up which Cameron now uses on his acoustic violin.

 

Cameron said "My electric is amazing. It's rock solid - I've bounced it around gigs for years and it's indestructible. It sounds awesome. And I smile inside anytime there's feedback on stage cause it is literally never me. The pick-up for my acoustic is the best I've seen and heard. It's so neat and unobtrusive - I really didn't want to be strapping loads of hardware to my good acoustic. Soundmen barely need to EQ it - it just plugs in and sounds great, which is what you want."
